Like
gleaming eyes of a rabbit
Caught
by a stray light, we live
Our
fur caressing the rough coat of destiny
Like
the sprint of a frightened rabbit
Made
lighter as if by Damocles Sword, we run
Our
feet gliding through the future
Like
a caged rabbit
Dutiful
to the confines of ‘normalcy’, we are imprisoned
Shackled
to the tempered airs of routine

WOW! This is FANTASTIC!!!!!! Brilliant! You have such a huge talent! Make way, Nairobi, for a future Poet Laureate is among you:)
Salem, the thing I miss about your former blog is we cant scroll down any more to see the poems that went before......people usually scroll, but many dont click on older posts, I find. I hope people dont miss any of your work with this one-page only format. Or maybe one can scroll and I just havent figured it out yet?
(Old people have a hard time with Change, hee hee)
Thank you so much, Koko. May your prayers on the Poet Laureate thing come to pass.
Now, I think the hitch-up you raise has been solved. The in-line comment section is in place. More than 10 poem on a page has been worked on. Let me know of any problem, Koko.
