Losing Sight

For a prompt of Carry on Tuesday #118

“An eye for an eye will make the whole world go blind”
-Mahatma Gandhi
Task: To use the first five words

*      *         *        *

An eye for an eye
You see plucked pupils everywhere
Resented souls, poisoned intentions
As these dark sockets find beauty
In the glaring pupils of the glazed souls
It irritates, it mocks blindness!

For some reason while reading this, I imagine a stomping person. Thanks for sharing. ☺
