Epigrammes consist of a rhyming couplet
or quatrain. They are satirical and witty. Their defining characteristic is brevity.
My example:
God created poets, poets and words He
created them,
For one could not live without the other.
We are at this moment, fellow pilgrim, treading on the boulders of this hill upon weathered rocks and rotting roots to smell a whiff of nature’s scent or to spot footprints on molten lava.
